1. I think we have hit the "terrible two's" as people call it, this
past week marcus has been very emotional, throwing tantrums and not sleeping well
2. Marcus is a little helper, if dave and I are doing something he wants
to do it also. If we don't let him do it he finds a way. We were cleaning out our side yard
and using the rake and he went and got a little hand shovel to help - plus he always
has to have gloves on like me - it's so darn cute.
3. Marcus shucked his first ear of corn today in preparation
for our barbeque - he loves to help out.
4. Marcus is still a great eater but he has found out that he loves sweets - if
he sees any soda (which we don't have around that much) he immediately wants some. He
also loves Oreo's (he can say "cook" for cookies) and of course Popsicles.
5. He can say "ice" and will say it constantly - because he eats it constantly
6. He had his first bubble bath this morning and loved it!

If you can keep him wanting to help you as well as navigate through the terrible two's, you'll be doing great. Just remember that the terrible two's are just his way of asserting his independence--a normal and natural growth state. You want him to learn to eventually be independent or he will still be living with you when he's 35. You don't want that!
