A guitar and lucy christmas!!

Dave and I had our first Christmas together and had so much fun!! I woke up at 7:45 to wrap a few last minute gifts and then came in to wake Dave up and he told me to go back to sleep!! I was so excited that there was no way I could go back to sleep. But he wouldn't wake up! I threatened him that I would open my presents without him, that didn't work. He eventually got up and we opened our fun gifts. Dave bought me the complete DVD collection of "I Love Lucy" I was so excited!! I gave Dave the guitar hero for the wii, which he can't stop playing. (and I like playing it too!!) We hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!

Lights on Temple Square

If you live in Salt Lake or in Salt Lake and Utah County it's pretty much set in stone that you come up to see the lights on Temple Square. Dave's family went last Sundy so I thought I would post some pictures. It was FREEEZING, but we had a good time!!

If you can't see the top of Megan's head it's because her hat blends in with the lights :) We love you Megan!!

Finals are over!!

So right now Dave is taking his last final and we both could not be happier that finals are over. It's been a crazy semester with getting married in September. But we are both happy and looking forward to our first Christmas. Plus I just found out that I got a B+ in my research class!! For those of you who have been around me for the last few weeks I have complained and worried about the 10 page research paper I had to write for this class. Hallelujiah!!

The first

So a little bit about ourselves, Michelle and I met in October of 2006 and we hit it off, in September of 2007 we were married. Since then we have been super busy with school (she is in her last year of her Master's of Social Work and I am still plugging away at my undergraduate degree) and work (she is up at the U Hospital and I am working for a commercial real estate company). I figured that blogging would be a way that I didn't have to tell the same story over and over again (lets be honest I am a son of Cliff and I will always retell the same story(if you don't know what that means just ask.)) I also figured that blogging was a whole lot easier than writing in a journal and this way I kill two birds with one stone(yes I am still lazy)
