Dave and I talked about going camping with just us and our kids. My parents graciously offered their travel trailer to use. We camped up Spanish Fork canyon because it's closest to my parents house so they could drop off the trailer. We stayed in Diamond Fork campground two nights.
We had a nice relaxing time with our kids and loved taking a camping trip with just our family. We went on a lot of hikes. Lucy loves the baby bjorn, as you can see. Marcus loved throwing rocks in the river and walking in the shallow part. We had a fun campsite and not that many neighbors. We played with all of grandma and grandpa Randall's toys from the trailer.
We enjoyed yummy camping food eating outside. Why is food so much better when you eat outside? Lucy loved playing in the pack-n-play and Marcus enjoyed fishing or watching daddy fish. They didn't catch anything but they had fun together.
We went on a fun hike they have that wraps around the campground. We cut the hike short but saw the wigwam and the teepee.
We will keep this a tradition and enjoyed going on vacation with just our family. Even though the kids didn't sleep great they did better than we thought. The trailer was amazing and made it so much better than sleeping in a tent.
