Sunday Snippets

:: Marcus ::

1. Marcus cut his bottom right 2 year old molar, finally. None of the others
are out but this one has broken through. He hasn't had a runny nose like when he was
teething before but he did wake up one night really upset and said "teeth, teeth".
2. Marcus is getting better week by week with Lucy. When he sees that she has spit up
he will run to her room and get a burp cloth and then wipe her mouth. (He also
tries to grab her many times out of her bouncer and she ends up crying)
3. He only wants to watch "blue's clues" on netlfix now that
he has seen one episode, he does the "popcorn" sign with his hands
to let me know he wants to watch it (that's what the guy Steve does in the show when he
sings the "blues clues" song.
4. He loves to go outside and be pulled around on the sled. I have
done it a few times but he loves dave to go outside with him. He laughs and
laughs when toby starts barking at him and chasing him on the sled.
5. When putting him to bed he has a routine that he loves - when we lay him down
he likes us to lay down next to him and sing "once there was a snowman" (with the actions)
and "popcorn, popping" (with the actions) and then we pray (even if we have prayed already).
6. He dropped the i-pad on his toe and it took off some skin, he was crying so hard
so I broke out the fun band-aids that I bought a while ago. After I put
it on he wanted one on his big toe and had a huge tantrum.

:: Lucy ::

1. Lucy is starting to lose her hair in the front. We have to scrub the cradle cap
and then her hair comes out. She is losing it faster than her brother did.
2. She still loves to arch her head back so her body is in the
shape of a C, she is very flexible.
3. She has started spitting up :( I just hope she is not
as bad as her brother was.
4. She still hates to have a bath, but loves afterwards when she is
all warm and swaddled in her soft blanket.
5. She still loves to be held rather than be in her swing, but she
also loves to fall asleep being held that's why she gets fussy in her swing.
 6. She cracks a smile every now and then when
she is sleeping and it melts my heart :)
