This is the Place State Park

My sister Tresa mentioned to me one day about going up to "This is the Place State Park" for their candle lighting celebration. I thought it would be fun and different for the holidays so we jumped on it. It was really really cold but we had a lot of fun. We went to Hire's first for dinner, yummy greasy hamburgers and fries. Marcus LOVES fries now, that's all he ate! At the park they had so many fun things to do. We first stopped to see the reindeer
Then we rode the train in the outside car, they gave us nice blankets and the train went all over the park.

Then the kids got to make some crafts and we listened to some carolers, we also saw a fun puppet show and Marcus walked around like Ralphie which made us hysterical.

They also had a live nativity and a cool newspaper press that we saw, no pictures. Our last stop was so much fun! We got to see Father Christmas. We were hoping Marcus would love him but he would not let go of Dave, as you can see.

We had such a fun night and hope to make it a tradition! Thanks Fowler family for going with us!
