We had an amazing Thanksgiving and Christmas down at my parents! That's all I wanted before they left, was to spend some quality time together with my family. Unfortunately my sister Tresa and her family was not able to make it because they were sick, but they had a good Thanksgiving and we managed to have fun without them. Marcus loves being with his cousins and his cousins gave him so much attention! We had SO much yummy food, because we thought we would have my sisters family there so we stuffed our faces!
THANKSGIVING
We spent the rest of the vacation looking at the deer and helping my parents pack up their suitcases and house to leave for their mission. We had a great time and marcus was a lot happier at their house now that he can walk around. It was so nice to have quality family time.
THANKSGIVING
My vegetable tray, thanks to the idea on Pinterest - I made a turkey
This was after we had eaten, I forgot to take a picture while we were eating
Marcus and his cousin mckay playing with the bristle blocks, a favorite at Grandma's
We spent a lot of time watching football, relaxing, and playing games (we had an awesome PIT game going on night that was a blast!)
CHRISTMAS
We spent the night down at the cabin on the resort because Marcus did not sleep well the night before - teething. So we didn't want to keep everyone up. He slept great and we got up the next morning and came back to the parents house for Christmas morning. We opened stockings first and then had breakfast. The kids all got pictures of Grandma and Grandpa, snacks, coloring books, and puzzles.
Marcus got a push popper, an old toy I remember playing with at my grandma's house
He LOVES it!
Dave forgot to update his amazon wishlist, which is where my mom did all her shopping. So he got legos and a book he already had - lesson learned - keep your wishlist on amazon updated
I got some fun sewing stuff, a new book, a large cooking pan
We gave my parents some new placemats for their mission, they don't use them as placemats but put them on the wall in the mission office
