So We blessed Marcus on 10/10/10. It was a beautiful day and one that I will never forget. Marcus was the perfect baby, as always, during the blessing. We found the cutest outfit for him and he loved all of the attention. Dave did a beautiful job blessing him and the spirit was so strong during the blessing. Marcus loved the attention of all the family and was all smiles and giggles.
Here are some generation pictures, 4 generations in each picture
The food was delicious thanks to our families!! Everyone brought good brunch food and we had scones made by my Mother-in-law that were amazing.
We squished everyone into the basement and our front room. We don't have a house to host parties in but we loved having our family over to our house.
This is my brother-in-law Greg. His tie has a story. He didn't wear this tie to church but changed when we got back to the house. He has a tradition of always wearing the tie that he wore to the reception of the parents of the baby being blessed. Did you follow that? So this tie was the tie dave and I had him wear at our reception. I thought it was a good tradition and really cool that he kept that ugly tie (those were my colors and cheap ties)
This is the best family picture we got, even though dave is not looking at the camera.
This is my favorite picture of the entire day. Marcus doesn't have his little hat on but he looks so happy and like he is just lit up inside. Dave and I are constantly amazed at Marcus and what a good baby he is. I tell Dave it's because he was so excited to get here and be with us that he is just happy. He is the light of our lives and we can't imagine our lives without him.

What a perfectly wonderful day! Dave did a wonderful job with the blessing. It was so fun to be with everyone from both families! And what a darling picture of Marcus! He does have a light in his cute face! We love you all! P.S. Thank you, Greg, for such a fun tradition! It says a lot about how important family is to you!
